Stacey's Fishing Club, located in Tadley, is a fishing club that offers a range of lakes and waters for the avid angler. With a strong reputation for its well-stocked lakes and picturesque surroundings, Stacey's Fishing Club is a haven for fishing enthusiasts of all levels of experience.
The club boasts several lakes, each offering a unique fishing experience. One of the standout lakes is Whitehouse Farm, situated next to Tadley Market. This well-established lake is home to a variety of fish, including decent-sized carp, big bream, hybrids, tench, roach, and perch. Anglers can enjoy the challenge of reeling in these prized catches against the backdrop of the beautiful Tadley landscape.
It's important for members to note that access to the island on Whitehouse Farm requires a padlock code, which is provided upon membership and should be locked after use.
Another popular spot within the club is Soke Road, which comprises three interconnected lakes. These lakes house a diverse population of fish, catering to all angling preferences. Lake 1 is slightly deeper and is known for bream and skimmers, although carp can also be found in the water. Lake 2 and Lake 3 primarily target carp but also feature bream, roach, and perch.
At Soke Road, all vehicles must be parked in the designated area, and driving beyond the bottom of the slope is prohibited.
For those seeking a more challenging fishing experience, Barlows Lakes is a fantastic choice. New Barlows, situated in front of the Mobile Home park, offers deeper waters and a thriving population of mixed fish. Anglers can target double-figure carp, big bream, barbel, chub, skimmers, roach, perch, and large ide. Old Barlows, on the other hand, is a picturesque lake with lily beds, ideal for pleasure sessions and leisurely fishing.
Although it is also abundant with fish, it may not be as productive during busy periods. Members should be aware that disabled swims on New Barlows can be reserved at times, so it's important to keep an eye out for any signage indicating their availability.
As a responsible fishing club, Stacey's Fishing Club strictly prohibits any unauthorised movement of fish between or within their lakes. Such actions will result in a lifetime ban from the club. Additionally, all members must possess a valid Environment Agency Rod Licence and carry their Stacey's permits at all times, as bailiffs conduct regular checks.
In addition to offering exceptional fishing opportunities, Stacey's Fishing Club provides a close-knit community of passionate anglers.
