Ravensthorpe Handgun Club is thrilled to host the SSAA (WA) Lever Action State Championships from May 31st to June 2nd, 2024. The action kicks off bright and early at 8:00 am on May 31st, running until 5:00 pm. Practice sessions on June 1st and 2nd start at 9:30 am, with a sweet spot for practice between 7:45 am to 9:00 am.
All eager participants must adhere to the rules outlined in the SSAA National Lever Action Rule Book No. 9 Revised 2022 and the SSAA WA State Rule Appendix Draft Version No. 1 2021. Remember to bring your National Grading Cards and Valid SSAA Membership Cards for rifle and equipment checks on June 1st, ahead of your practice session.
To secure your spot, be sure to fill out the Nomination Form and shoot it over to leveraction@ssaawa.org.au by May 17th, 2024. The nomination fee stands at $50 for adults, but juniors can join in the fun at no cost. Medals, trophies, and perpetual shields await the winners, with presentations set for June 2nd at the SSAA Perth Lever Action Clubhouse.
Camping and caravan facilities are in place, offering power and water at the Range. Cash and EFTPOS payments are welcome at the canteen, serving up brekkie and lunch on the competition days.
