Boerkamp family has put their heart and soul into transforming the farm into a unique and challenging golf course for all to enjoy.
The natural beauty of Springview Farm Golf Course is a standout feature, with farm lands, mature bush lots, and diverse flora and fauna creating a picturesque backdrop. The course features naturally spring-fed water hazards, elevated tee-offs, narrow fairways, Scottish link grass, and rolling T4 bent grass greens that offer a challenging yet enjoyable golfing experience. The slope of the greens varies depending on the direction of the wind, adding an extra element of difficulty to the game.
The front nine of the course spans 1786 yards and is a par 30, featuring naturally spring-fed ponds, narrow fairways, and a variety of trees that come into play. The back nine covers 2516 yards and is a par 35, with low-lying wetlands, open fairways, Scottish Links tall grass, two par 5s, and challenging greens that test golfers of all skill levels.
The Clubhouse at Springview Farm Golf Course is housed in an old pack barn that has been converted into a pro-shop, bar, and dining area. While the Clubhouse no longer hosts showers, birthday parties, or weddings, it provides a warm and inviting space for golfers to relax and socialize after a round of golf.
Springview Farm Inc. has a rich history, originally starting as a tobacco farm in the early 1950s before transitioning into an 18-hole golf course in the early 2000s. Designed by Tracey and Leigh Boerkamp with the help of their children, the course was constructed with the support of friends and family and officially opened to the public in July 2006. The Boerkamp family's passion for golf and commitment to creating a unique and welcoming golfing experience shines through in every aspect of Springview Farm Golf Course.
