Springburn Harriers is a well-established running and athletics club located in the northern parts of Glasgow and Bishopbriggs. For senior members, training sessions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Huntershill Sports Hub. On Tuesdays, members are expected to arrive at the track by 7. 15pm for a warm-up, with the main session commencing at 7. 30pm.
Thursdays usually entail a road run, with members meeting outside the Hub at 7. 15pm. The Sports Hub also provides accessible toilet facilities for the convenience of attendees.
Additionally, the club organises long run sessions on Sunday mornings, offering an opportunity for members to further enhance their stamina, endurance, and overall fitness levels. The junior programme operates on a dynamic schedule, with regular updates available on the Juniors page of the club's website. The programme is designed to cater to the specific needs and development of younger athletes, supported by a team of certified coaches and jog leaders from Scottish Athletics.
