Sporting Greystones FC is a young, progressive, and dynamic football club located in Greystones, Co. Wicklow. Established in September 2017, the club has seen significant growth over the years, with 22 teams now competing and a thriving Academy. The club's home grounds at Dr.
Ryan Park and Dublin Oak Academy have undergone extensive refurbishment, including the addition of a new Astro Pitch, grass pitch, and changing rooms.
Proud recipients of the FAI Club Mark Award, Sporting Greystones FC is committed to best practises in the governance, management, and administration of a football club. The club offers football for players of all ages and abilities, with junior teams participating in non-competitive leagues and senior teams in competitive leagues. Each player is monitored and streamed to ensure they are playing at a level suitable for their abilities, allowing them to develop their skills and enjoy the game.
The club's home jersey colours are black and white stripes, with black shorts and black/white socks, while the away jersey is red with black shorts and black/white socks. In addition to regular league play, Sporting Greystones FC hosts events such as the FAI Summer Soccer Schools and intraclub Mini World Cup.
Sporting Greystones FC has plans to launch a Football for All programme for children with additional needs, aiming to provide opportunities for all children to play football. Parental involvement and support will be critical to the success of the programme, and expressions of interest are invited from boys and girls born in the years 2006 to 2013.
