Welcome to Sporteka kids@Box Hill, Australia's first multi-sport and Tennis programme specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers. With a focus on fun and skills, Sporteka aims to help children aged 2 years and above develop fundamental motor and eye-hand coordination skills in a caring and supportive environment.
Sporteka offers two different programmes: Multisport and Tennis. The Multisport programme introduces children to the essential skills of 11 different sports, including Soccer, Tennis, Basketball, T Ball, Hockey, Aussie Rules, Netball, Golf, Cricket, Badminton, and Athletics. This provides children with a well-rounded experience and helps them discover their interests and talents across various sports.
If your child shows an interest in Tennis, Sporteka's Tennis programme is the perfect starting point. We offer indoor Tennis lessons for beginners from the age of 3. Our programme provides uninterrupted practise opportunities to prepare children for competition while making friends and having fun participating in Tennis Australia Tennis Hot Shots events and challenges.
Sporteka programmes are carefully designed by Fatima Tawfek, a community development professional, youth counsellor, and Tennis Australia and FFV qualified coach. Since 2002, the programme has been helping children build self-confidence and develop a healthy lifestyle while also tackling childhood obesity. It aims to prepare children for participation in school and club sports, promoting physical competence and social and emotional health for life.
At Sporteka kids@Box Hill, we understand the importance of keeping children active and away from screens. Our programmes offer small group sizes and personal attention, ensuring that each child receives the support they need. We prioritise family-friendly experiences, catering to the needs of young children, busy parents, nursing mothers, grandparents, and carers.
