Splash Centre

Welcome to the Splash Centre, a premier public swimming pool and fitness centre located in Whanganui, New Zealand. With our state-of-the-art facilities and variety of amenities, we aim to provide a fun and inclusive environment for individuals and families to enjoy swimming, fitness classes, and more.

Our opening hours ensure that there is ample time for everyone to indulge in their favourite activities. The pool is open Monday to Friday from 6 am to 8 pm and on weekends from 8 am to 6 pm. On special occasions such as ANZAC Day, King's Birthday, Matariki, and Christmas Eve, the pool will have adjusted opening hours. It's always a good idea to check our customer portal or call us for daily lane availability.

Safety is our utmost priority, especially when it comes to children. Children under the age of 8 must be actively supervised by a caregiver who is 16 years or older. This means that the caregiver must watch the child at all times and be ready to provide immediate assistance if needed.

Our facilities are designed to cater to a wide range of interests. We have a 33-metre pool, a learners' pool for beginners, hydroslides for the adventurous, and a diving board for those who enjoy diving. Our extensive outdoor area includes barbeque and picnic/lawn areas, as well as shaded spaces to relax and unwind.

Admission prices are affordable and offer great value for money. General admission includes access to pools, sauna, steam room, hot pools, and the splash deck for adults over 14 years of age. Prices vary according to age and concessions. We also offer aquarobics and hydroslide sessions at additional costs.

For frequent visitors, we offer concession cards and memberships that provide flexibility and savings. Concession cards can be purchased for 10, 25, or 50 sessions, depending on your needs. Splash memberships include casual, pre-paid, and low-impact circuit options, all available on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis.

At the Splash Centre, we also offer a range of classes, including Learn to Swim, Aquarobics, 50s Forward, Royal Lifesaving NZ, Low Impact Circuit, Arthritis, and Float Fit. These classes are designed to cater to individuals of all fitness levels and abilities.
