For beginners, the Hung Gar Syllabus Class is highly recommended. This class focuses on the Southern style of Hung Gar Kuen and covers a range of techniques and forms. It is suitable for both beginners and more advanced students who are looking to refine their skills. The class takes place at The Studio, Dean Close Sports Centre, which offers free car parking for convenience.
The cost for this class is 12 per session, payable by weekly standing order.
For advanced students who attend private lessons and/or the syllabus Hung Gar class, there is a special Wednesday session called 'Closed Door'. This two-hour session is intense and covers advanced techniques, open-style sparring, application, and conditioning. It aims to challenge and push students to their limits. 'Closed Door' is held at The Studio, Dean Close Sports Centre and is available for a monthly fee of 50, payable via standing order.
In addition to the regular classes, Spectrum Classical Kung Fu Association also offers one-hour private tuition sessions throughout the week. These sessions are tailored to individual training goals and can cover any style of martial arts. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, the private tuition sessions provide a personalised training experience. These sessions can be conducted via Skype or at the private studio in Cheltenham, with free parking available.
The cost for a bespoke session is 35, payable by monthly standing order.

This class is exclusively for existing Spectrum students, so make sure to register your interest with Sifu.
Joining Spectrum Classical Kung Fu Association requires a few important terms and conditions. Students will need to complete a liability waiver and are expected to wear a club t-shirt during group classes, available for 12. Due to the complexity of learning Kung Fu and the commitment required, the club only accepts students aged 16 and above. Membership requires an ongoing commitment through a regular standing order payment.
It's significant to note that regular payment applies whether you choose to train or not, as your time slot has been purchased and reserved for you and cannot be filled by others.
