At Sowerby Bridge Shotokan Karate Club, training is provided by qualified instructors who have undergone full DBS checks. Both instructors have over 30 years of experience in Shotokan Karate and have attained senior grades. They possess a deep understanding of the mechanics, technical details, discipline, and respect associated with Karate. Their extensive experience also includes competing at regional, national, and international levels, which they utilise to enhance the skills of their students.
The club prides itself on being completely inclusive and non-discriminatory, welcoming individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and physical abilities. Whether you are a total beginner or a senior grade, you will find a supportive environment at Sowerby Bridge Shotokan Karate Club.
Located at the Foundry Street Community Centre in Sowerby Bridge, the club offers training sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays. The Tuesday sessions are from 19:30 to 21:00, while the Friday sessions are from 19:30 to 21:00 for both juniors and adults. For families, there is a 10% discount available for each additional family member.
The session fees at Sowerby Bridge Shotokan Karate Club are as follows: the first session is free, subsequent sessions are 5. 00 each, and there is an option to pay 35. 00 per month through a Standing Order, which saves 80. 00 per year.
