South Upwey Netball Club

Welcome to South Upwey Netball Club! Located in Melbourne, we are a community-based netball club that is proudly run by a dedicated team of volunteers. Our club prides itself on being fun and friendly, offering both junior and senior players the opportunity to play great netball while also enjoying the benefits of being part of a social netball club and staying healthy.

At South Upwey Netball Club, we have teams at every age level, welcoming players from 8 years old in our 11/under team, all the way up to our senior open players in their 50s and 60s, and everyone in between. We encourage individuals of all ages to join us, as it's a fantastic way for children and adults alike to start playing netball and socialise with like-minded individuals.

We participate in the Saturday netball competition at the Mountain District Netball Association in Ferntree Gully. Additionally, we hold training sessions at the same location on Wednesday evenings from 4 pm to 7 pm. It's a great opportunity to sharpen skills and connect with teammates.

If you're interested in joining us for the 2024 Winter Season, head over to our contact page to fill out your details, and we'll be in touch. For players eligible to play in the OPEN section (18+), we will be holding trials in November. Information for new players is provided on our website, and you can always reach out to Sam for additional details.

If you've played for another club before, you may need to obtain a clearance from them through Netball Connect. We want to ensure a seamless registration process, so please make sure to register through Netball Connect using the link provided on our website.
