She has trained and performed professionally in New Zealand and abroad and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her teaching. Miss Emma Thompson Miss Emma is a talented and enthusiastic teacher who teaches classes in tap and musical theatre. She has a background in performing arts and brings her passion for dance and theatre to her teaching. Miss Sophie Johnson Miss Sophie is a qualified cheerleading coach who leads our cheerleading classes. She has competed at a national level and has a deep understanding of the skills and techniques required for this high-energy sport. Miss Sophie is committed to helping her students build strength, coordination, and teamwork skills through cheerleading.
Our Facilities Southport Dance Academy is proud to have two state-of-the-art studios equipped with professional sprung floors and mirrored walls. These facilities provide dancers with a safe and supportive environment to train and develop their skills. Our studios are spacious and well-maintained, allowing for optimal space and movement during classes.
