Established in 1951, South Oxon Archery Club is a renowned archery club located in Reading, Oxfordshire. With a membership of approximately 30 individuals, the club welcomes archers of all ages and skill levels, creating a warm and inclusive environment for all.
Operating out of the Abbey Rugby Club in Emmer Green, just north of Reading, South Oxon Archery Club is fortunate to have access to a spacious shooting area with breathtaking views. While the grounds are shared with the rugby club, the archery club enjoys ample space to practise their skills and engage in friendly competitions.
Regardless of the weather conditions, the dedicated members of South Oxon Archery Club shoot outdoors all year round, embracing the challenge and thrill that nature brings to their sport. Although the club currently lacks indoor shooting facilities, the enthusiasm and passion of the members compensate for it.
