South Niagara Rowing Club

South Niagara Rowing Club, located in Welland, is a rowing club along the picturesque South Welland Canal. The club is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for rowers of all levels, from beginners to experienced competitors.

In 2024, SNRC will be hosting two Free Try It Days on June 8th and September 14th, offering the perfect opportunity for individuals interested in rowing to experience the sport first-hand. Registration is now open for these events.

One of the exciting developments at SNRC is the construction of a new Training Centre. This state-of-the-art facility will feature a 1600 sqft space that will be utilized for training sessions, fitness classes, rowing clinics, and club meetings. The Training Centre will also include administrative space, locker rooms, a kitchenette, and wheelchair-accessible facilities. To support this project, a Donation Drive has been set up with the National Sport Trust Fund, where charitable tax receipts will be issued for any contributions.

Kevin Fuller, the President of SNRC, extends an invitation to support this project and welcomes any level of donation. The club is actively seeking club spirit volunteers to get involved in various activities and projects.
