Southlands Riding Club

Southlands Riding Club prides itself on being a welcoming and inclusive equestrian community located in the heart of Vancouver's designated urban-based equestrian area. Established in 1943, the club offers world-class riding facilities, instruction, and events for riders of all levels. The club does not provide trail or pony rides but focuses on providing training opportunities for amateur athletes and horses, catering to all levels from grassroots to Grand Prix.

The club's 16 acres of green space boast well-maintained riding facilities that are open daily for members and visitors. The rings are equipped with lights for evening riding, and the grounds staff ensure that the riding surfaces are groomed as needed. While the club does not offer horses for lease or hire, there are several boarding and lesson barns nearby for those seeking riding opportunities.

The club features various riding rings, including the McCutcheon Ring, the Big Ring, the Dressage Ring, the Cross-Country Field, the Indoor Ring, and the Event Field. Members can enjoy a range of equestrian activities and events throughout the year, with the club's event calendar filled with show seasons, classes, and prizes.
