At Southern Cross Cheer, we believe in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for all athletes. We aim to develop important life skills such as sportsmanship, teamwork, self-confidence, and problem-solving skills. Our dedicated coaches are experienced and passionate about helping each individual athlete achieve their goals, both on and off the mat.
Our cheer and dance classes are not only fun but also offer a great way to stay active and get into shape. Whether you're a beginner or have previous experience, our classes cater to all skill levels. We offer free trial classes at both our Northcote and Westmeadows locations, so you can come and experience cheerleading for yourself.
Our most notable team, Legacy, has achieved incredible success at the World Championships. As the first and only Australian cheerleading team to “Globe,” they have earned a silver medal in 2016 and a bronze medal in 2017 in the international open coed level 6 division. This same passion and drive can be found in all our teams, from our Mini age classes for young children to our veteran athletes who have worked hard to move up through the levels.
We have created teams and classes for athletes of all ages and abilities, ensuring that each person is placed where they will thrive and enjoy their cheerleading journey. Our goal is to maximise each individual's enjoyment and progression in the sport. No matter your experience, there is a team for everyone at Southern Cross Cheer.
