Melbourne Social Netball – Ascot Vale is excited to promote a local netball event for all the passionate players out there! South Yarra Netball, located at Melbourne High School in South Yarra, offers an amazing opportunity for both Mixed & Ladies Divisions to come together and enjoy the game.
Game nights take place on Monday and Tuesday, and we are pleased to announce that starting from 2023, Wednesday nights will also be added to the schedule. This means more chances to play and have a great time on the netball court!
When you arrive at the venue, you'll be greeted with two top-quality outdoor courts that provide the perfect setting for some friendly competition. Don't worry about parking, as there's plenty of on-site and street parking available for your convenience.
But the fun doesn't stop there! Our netball venue also boasts a stunning lounge area where you can relax and chat with fellow players. Plus, we offer great drink and beverage prices to keep you refreshed throughout the night. And if you need to freshen up before or after your game, our quality change rooms with shower facilities are at your disposal.
For those who prefer to cheer from the sidelines, our pavilion balcony offers fantastic views of the netball games. It's the perfect spot to soak up the atmosphere and support your favourite teams.
A friendly reminder, though, no animals or bikes are allowed inside the fenced netball court area. Safety first, folks!
To sign in on game nights, simply head over to the window on the wall opposite the hockey fields, next to the entrance to the bathrooms. Our dedicated staff will be there to assist you. And once you're all set, head towards the left side of the window, next to the stairs, where the netball courts await your skills and enthusiasm.
For the current season, action began on 12th February, and we are gearing up for the Grand Final scheduled on 26th February. Looking ahead, the upcoming season promises even more excitement with 16 rounds and 2 finals. Registration for the new season opens on 26th February 2024. Mark your calendars!
Want even more netball action? Our Tuesday sessions have got you covered too! The season kicks off on 16th January 2024 with registration opening on 9th January 2024. It's the perfect opportunity to get involved and show off your skills. The season will run until 30th April 2024, and the Grand Final is scheduled for 14th May 2024.
