Solar Salsa

Solar Salsa is a vibrant and dynamic dance school located in Manchester, specifically in South Manchester. Offering a variety of Cuban-style salsa dance classes, Solar Salsa is known for its inclusive, friendly, and fun approach to teaching. With a strong focus on the group dance Rueda de Casino, Solar Salsa aims to create an environment where dancers of all abilities and levels can come together and enjoy the joy of salsa.

At Solar Salsa, no partner or booking is necessary, and all are welcome to join their classes. With one price, 7 (5 concessions), dancers can stay as long as they like within their dance level. In addition to the structured classes, Solar Salsa encourages social dancing in between and after the classes, allowing dancers to practise their moves and connect with others in the salsa community.

The class schedule at Solar Salsa is as follows: every Tuesday, beginners start at 7:15pm, followed by the Improver/Intermediate class at 8:15pm, and the Intermediate/Advanced class at 9:15pm. On Thursdays, beginners start at 7:15pm, followed by the Improver/Intermediate class at 8:15pm, and the Intermediate/Advanced class at 9:15pm. Additionally, Saturdays offer a 2pm beginners class, a 3:15pm Improver/Intermediate class, and a 4:15pm Advanced class.

Solar Salsa takes the health and safety of its dancers seriously, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. All classes have full ventilation and hand sanitiser available, and dancers are advised not to attend if they suspect they have any COVID-19 symptoms.
