Welcome aboard Sofiya Charters, a fishing charter based in Minehead Harbour, Somerset. Whether you are an experienced angler or a novice, Sofiya Charters offers a fantastic day of deep sea fishing in the prolific waters of the Bristol Channel. No matter the time of year, the Bristol Channel is known for its excellent fishing.

During the winter months, you can expect to catch a variety of species including Cod, Spurs, Whiting, and Conger. In the summer, within just an hour from the port, you will find Bass, Smoothounds, Huss, Pollock, Tope, Bream, and some of the best Ray fishing in the country. Thornbacks, Blondes, Smalleyed, and Spotties are regularly caught on our charters.

Our boat, the Offshore 105, is fully insured and licenced for up to 12 persons. It provides a stable fishing platform with plenty of deck space. We offer a range of trip durations including 4, 6, 8, and 12-hour trips to accommodate your schedule. Rods and bait are always available for a moderate extra fee.

About the boat: Sofiya Charters is powered by a newly installed Iveco FTP 450 hp engine. The boat features all the necessary marine electronics in the wheelhouse to help guide you to the best fishing spots. Onboard, you will find a WC and a galley facility for making hot drinks.

We offer a range of fishing trips, including general fishing trips that last 4, 8, 10, or 12 hours. On these trips, we anchor the vessel and use uptide or stand up down tide tackle to catch species such as Huss, Smoothounds, Rays, Conger, and Dogfish. We also offer species fishing trips that last 8, 10, or 12 hours. These trips take you further west of Minehead to reefs, mussel beds, and sandbanks, where you can target gurnards, bass, trigger fish, black bream, ballan wrasse, cuckoo wrasse, pollock, mackerel, garfish, and many other species.
