Very few accidents or incidents at our club. Safety is always our top priority, and we ensure that all members, especially beginners, receive thorough safety training and guidance.
At Soar Valley Archers, we believe that archery is a fun, exciting, and competitive sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced archer, we have something to offer you. Our club is a friendly and welcoming community where members can come together to shoot, learn, and socialise.
We have both indoor and outdoor shooting ranges, allowing us to shoot all year round. Our regular shooting sessions take place on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm and on Sundays from 10am to 2pm. In addition to our regular shooting sessions, we also organise regular club competitions and fun events that our members thoroughly enjoy.
For those who are new to archery, we offer beginners' courses throughout the year. These courses run for six weeks and provide a comprehensive introduction to the sport. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the basics of archery, from proper form and technique to equipment selection and safety protocols. By the end of the course, you will have the skills and knowledge to shoot confidently on your own.
We are proud of our strong partnerships with equipment suppliers such as Charnwood Archery, Merlin Archery, and Quicks Archery. These partnerships allow our members to easily access high-quality archery equipment and gear. We also have affiliations with other archery organisations such as Archery GB, East Midlands Archery Society, and Leicestershire & Rutland County Archery Association, which enable our members to participate in a wider range of events and competitions.
