Snodland Chess Club Simultaneous Display vs GM Sergey Tiviakov

Snodland Chess Club is thrilled to announce an upcoming event that will surely excite all chess enthusiasts. The club will be hosting a simultaneous display against the renowned Grandmaster Sergey Tiviakov on Tuesday, 27th February 2024 at 7.15pm.

Grandmaster Sergey Tiviakov's impressive accomplishments in the world of chess make him a formidable opponent. With three Dutch Championship titles under his belt and a world ranking that once soared to 20th place, Sergey's skills are truly remarkable. Participants in this open event will have the unique opportunity to test their abilities against a chess legend.

To secure a spot in this exciting event, a minimum donation of £10 is required. Generous donations above this amount are welcomed and will help support future chess events. For those interested in owning a signed copy of Sergey's book, 'Rock Solid Chess', copies will be available for purchase at £25. Orders must be placed and paid for in advance.

The event will be held at the Devonshire Rooms, located at 4 Waghorn Road, Snodland, Kent, ME6 5BQ in the 'Moyeuvre-Grande Suite' upstairs room. Limited parking is available in the surrounding area, with a free car park located on Rocfort Road, ME6 5NQ less than 200m away from the venue.
