Are you the owner of Snaty Trailhead, 12 O'Clock Hills?

Located near Kilkishen in East Clare, Ireland, the Snaty Trailhead at 12 O'Clock Hills offers a range of recreational and heritage walking trails. The main summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey Trig Point, with a height of 309 metres above mean sea level. The project aims to celebrate the heritage of the hill dwellers who once lived in Upper Belvoir, Crag, and Snata, providing safe and signed walking routes for recreational, heritage, and scenic purposes.
The project was initiated by the Twelve O'Clock Committee, with members including Patsy Neville, John Lenihan, Ger Grace, Antoin Devitt, and others. The walking trails at 12 O'Clock Hills are designed for all levels and abilities, with options such as the Red Trail (5 km), Blue Trail (8. 5 km), and Purple Trail (13 km) providing a variety of experiences for visitors. The Belvoir Trailhead, which opened in June 2019, offers spacious car parking for at least 90 vehicles on two levels, along with a public toilet facility.
Visitors can explore the history of the project and the surrounding area, with the Crag River adding a natural element to the hiking trails. The facility offers online shopping for merchandise, as well as regular updates and events on their Facebook page. Guests are advised to wear sturdy boots, as the trails can become muddy during wet weather. The project also has a strict dog policy in place to ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors.
