Smythe Park Outdoor Pool is nestled in the heart of Smythe Park, a 15. 3-hectare park located along the Black Creek ravine in York. The park features various amenities such as trails along the Black Creek, three ball diamonds (one with lights), a splash pad, and a children's playground. At the east end of the park is the Smythe Park Outdoor Pool, making it easily accessible from the parking lot at the end of Black Creek Trail, which enters the park from Scarlett Road.

The outdoor pool at Smythe Park includes a baby/tot pool, perfect for young swimmers. Recreational swims are offered daily in the afternoon and evening for leisure swims, as well as evening lane swims. The pool does not offer swimming lessons, but it provides a refreshing and relaxing escape from the summer heat.
