SMSP Track Nights are the perfect opportunity for auto racing enthusiasts to get a taste of the thrilling SMSP GP Circuit, all this under the sparkling $16 million-worth of LED lights. Whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting out, this event welcomes drivers of all skill levels. So, grab your road-registered vehicle and come experience the exhilaration of SMSP's Gardner GP Circuit at night.
Now, before you start your engines, please bear in mind that due to COVID-19, we have some special requirements and changes in place for these track nights. To get all the necessary information, please make sure to visit our website.
This event is open exclusively to road-registered vehicles. If you happen to be unsure which group to book into, don't hesitate to contact us. Our friends at Driving Solutions will be more than happy to assist you. Keep in mind that they reserve the right to reallocate drivers between groups if necessary. During the event, there will be alternating 15-minute sessions on-track, with each session alternating between the beginner and advanced groups. Please note that there won't be any instructors present at these Track Nights.
The cost to participate in this exciting event is only $285.00 per driver. This fee is valid for one driver per vehicle. To register, all drivers are required to hold a minimum of a P1 (Red P-Plate) Licence and bring it along on the day. Safety is a top priority, so make sure you're dressed appropriately with long sleeve shirts and pants (covering ankle to wrist) along with closed-toe, flat shoes. Helmets are compulsory, and unfortunately, passengers are not permitted. Prior to the event, please ensure that your vehicle is roadworthy, has proper oil and water levels, and a full tank of fuel. Don't forget to follow the recommended tire pressures as well. Lastly, make sure to remove any loose articles from your vehicle to avoid any distractions on the track.
Rain or shine, these Track Nights are happening, folks! Therefore, it's important to arrive no later than 6:00 pm to complete the registration process and attend the driver's briefing. Comfort is key, so dress appropriately for the weather conditions and wear flat, closed-toe shoes. Keep in mind that high heels, thongs, or sandals won't make the cut. Oh, and don't forget your helmets! They need to meet the minimum Australian standard AS1698 for all Track Nights.
Feeling hungry or thirsty? Not to worry! You can grab a bite to eat or quench your thirst at the onsite café, where food and beverages are available for purchase. However, if you prefer to bring your own snacks and drinks, you're more than welcome to do so. Just remember that private catering isn't allowed, and we kindly ask that you refrain from consuming alcohol at least 12 hours prior to the event.
We understand that sometimes plans change, and that's okay. If you need to cancel, please make sure to do so at least 7 days before the event date. This will allow you to transfer your booking to another date. However, if you happen to cancel after this timeframe, all fees paid will unfortunately be forfeited. In the event of a transfer, it must be completed within 6 months of the original date. Refunds are not available for cancellations or non-attendance.
To find your way to Sydney Motorsport Park, simply enter through Gate A on Ferrers Road. Follow the road until you reach the Pit Paddock, where you can safely park your vehicle.
