Located in Newry, Smart Time Fitness was founded by Elaine, who grew up on a farm where fitness, health, and nutritious food were everyday essentials. As an avid runner who has participated in numerous marathons and ultra-marathons, entering the fitness industry was a natural step for her. However, it was her experience of motherhood that truly highlighted the profound impact of exercise on both physical and mental health.
Elaine's fitness programmes are shaped by her experiences as a mother, covering the highs, lows, and challenges that come with parenthood. She understands the physical changes post-childbirth and the lifestyle adjustments needed to maintain a healthy balance. Elaine's personal experience with food and its effects on mood and energy levels led her to become a certified nutrition coach, transforming her own health and well-being.
After facing her own struggles with diastasis recti, Elaine pursued further training in anti and postnatal fitness in London. She discovered safe and effective ways to heal and strengthen her core, moving away from traditional exercises that could worsen her condition. Now, with a stronger core than ever, Elaine is eager to help others achieve similar results.
