Smartgolfer Network

Welcome to Smartgolfer Network, a unique group of golf clubs across the south of England. By joining Smartgolfer Network, golfers have the ability to play some wonderful courses either for free or at a discounted rate. Paying the membership fee at their local golf club grants access to the Smartgolfer network overnight.

The Smartgolfer Network was established in 2008 by a small group of individual clubs who aimed to add value to their Club Membership packages by offering access to other courses within their own membership charges. This added value is attractive to individual golfers, ensuring high retention rates and serving as an incentive for nomadic golfers to join a club.

There are several clubs in the Smartgolfer Network, providing golf enthusiasts with the opportunity to play a variety of courses. Whether on holiday or looking for a day out, members can search the network and contact their chosen course before setting off.

While the Smartgolfer Network aims to provide unparalleled value and service to golfers, it is important to familiarise oneself with the network rules. Rule 5 states that there is one free start time per group. For groups with more than four players, the first tee time for four players is free, and the remaining members will be charged at the network rate. Rule 12 clarifies that reciprocal rounds cannot be expected as part of a golf society day or Open Tournament.
