SLY Taekwon-do is a Traditional Taekwon-do Martial Art School based in Sittingbourne, New Zealand. Laszlo Butty, the Chief Instructor of SLY Taekwon-do, has a long history and passion for martial arts. As a young child, he explored various martial arts styles, starting with wrestling and Judo before finding his connexion with Taekwondo in 1990. With dedication and passion, Laszlo trained extensively, progressing through the belts and achieving his 1st Dan Black Belt in 1998. He also became the Vice President of a Martial Arts School, where he began teaching children and leading classes.

Under his guidance, his students achieved remarkable results in both national and international competitions.

Laszlo continued to expand his knowledge and training by studying with Pak Bang Pok (6th Dan) and Chon Choi Jun (6th Dan) from North Korea, who taught him Korean style workout training that further enhanced his teaching methods. Alongside his martial arts training, Laszlo also completed his university studies as an Information Technology Engineer (2002) and Economist (2006).

SLY Taekwon-do offers training in various venues within Sittingbourne. The school provides a safe and supportive environment for students of all ages and skill levels to learn and excel in Taekwon-do.
