SLP Junior Academy offers a wide range of classes for children aged 3 and above, including RAD Ballet, ISTD Modern and Tap. SLP Junior Academy offers a variety of different classes to cater to the interests and aspirations of their students. These include Acting, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Acro, Modern, Tap, Ballet, and Tiny Tots. Each class is taught by experienced and talented faculty members who are passionate about nurturing their students' skills and talents.
The academy's faculty is composed of the very best teaching talent. Principal Sandra Reid, who has been teaching in Garforth for 45 years, opened the building on Chapel Lane in '91 with a vision to enable children to dance in safe and professional studios, regardless of their financial status. Hannah Rooke, the Vice Principal, has studied at SLP College and has extensive experience teaching Tap, Modern, and Ballet. Daisy Jones, a teacher of Ballet, Tap, and Modern, has joined the Academy from SLP College and has experience teaching in Palma De Mallorca.
Kate Linley specialises in Tap, Lyrical, Technical Jazz, and Musical Theatre, while Laura Carnaby is a highly qualified Ballet teacher. Jessica Mais is a teacher of Ballet with a strong background in performing arts.
