Skeena Cat Skiing Base Camp is a ski resort located in Kitimat-Stikine B, offering an unparalleled backcountry skiing experience. As the only Northern BC operation, Skeena Cat Skiing has been locally owned and operated since 2011. The resort operates from a backcountry basecamp located at the tree line, providing guests with a unique and immersive wilderness experience.
Skeena Cat Skiing boasts one of the largest and most skiable tenures in the province, with plans for further expansion. The ski tenure is located 80 km (50 miles) north of Smithers, BC, and offers 30,184 hectares of pristine terrain. From incredible tree skiing to open bowls and steep slopes, guests can enjoy a variety of runs with lengths up to 12,000 m (3,600 feet) and an average daily vertical of 4,600 m (15,000 feet).
The resort's location ensures consistent and abundant powder snow, making it a prime destination for skiing enthusiasts.
