Singapore Hockey Federation

The Singapore Hockey Federation, formerly known as the Singapore Hockey Association, has a rich history dating back to 1931 when it was first formed and registered with the Registrar of Societies. Initially affiliated with the English Hockey Association, the organisation took the initiative to arrange games for Malaya when there was no governing body in place. Over the years, the Federation has grown to become the leading authority in hockey in Singapore.

The Federation played a pivotal role in the development of hockey in the country, organising competitions for both men and women. In 1992, the Singapore Hockey Association and the Singapore Women's Hockey Association merged to create the Singapore Hockey Federation, with Mr Davinder Singh MP as its first President. Since then, the Federation has been at the forefront of promoting and growing the sport of field hockey in Singapore.
