Are you the owner of Singapore Ballroom Dance Teachers' Association?

Established in 1980, the Singapore Ballroom Dance Teachers' Association (SBDTA) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting and fostering the art of Ballroom and Latin-American dancing in Singapore. The association was founded by a group of 10 professional dance teachers who sought to elevate the standards of dance and create a supportive community for dance enthusiasts.
Affiliated with the World Dance Council, the Asian Dance Council, and the Asia Pacific Dance & Dancesport Council, the SBDTA welcomes local dance teachers, professional and amateur dance competitors, and supporters of dance to join in the joy of dancing and strive to improve their skills regardless of age or ability. The association's main goal is to encourage more people to engage in and appreciate the art of dance.
The SBDTA offers opportunities for members to become qualified dance teachers, provides guidance in upholding professionalism in establishing dance studios, and organises local and international competitions to showcase the talent and skills of dancers in Singapore. By promoting Standard Ballroom and Latin-American dancing, the SBDTA aims to foster friendship among dance aficionados and push the standards of dance to new heights.
The association holds annual events and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of its members, culminating in the prestigious Singapore National Open DanceSport Championship (SNODC). The SBDTA also conducts an Annual General Meeting to ensure the smooth operation and governance of the association.
Through its dedication to promoting dance and supporting its members, the Singapore Ballroom Dance Teachers' Association continues to be a leading force in the dance community in Singapore, inspiring dancers to pursue their passion and achieve excellence in the art of dance. Join us in the wonderful world of dance and experience the joy of moving to the rhythm of life. Happy Dancing!
