Simply Pilates

Established in 2003, Simply Pilates is the first fully-equipped, dedicated Pilates studio in Bristol. They pride themselves on offering only fully qualified, Pilates Foundation trained equipment and mat instructors who bring a wealth of other qualifications and experience to their Pilates practise. All their instructors are accredited members of the Pilates Foundation and follow a strict Code of Ethics and Conduct.

Pilates is a mind-body exercise discipline suitable for all ages, body types, limitations, and injuries. It is challenging enough for top sportsmen yet gentle enough to aid patients recovering from injuries or accidents. Simply Pilates believes that Pilates is the ultimate programming for a wide range of participants, from ageing adults to elite athletes, with over 550 exercises to choose from. Its functionality makes it adaptable to people with widely different daily routines.

The studio works closely with physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, and other medical professionals to develop complementary programmes that aid clients in regaining flexibility, range of motion, and strength after injury. It is also an excellent form of exercise during and after pregnancy, as deep abdominal and lower back muscle strength is prioritised, reducing discomfort and tiredness.

Simply Pilates offers various classes, including group mat sessions, open studio sessions, semi-private sessions, private sessions, and ante-natal sessions. All of these classes take place in their purpose-designed, dedicated equipment studio, ensuring a comfortable and focused environment for Pilates practise.

After 15 years in Clifton, Simply Pilates recently relocated to Chandos Rd in Redland in 2020. They are now conveniently located in a new space to continue providing high-quality Pilates classes to the Bristol community.
