Simon Coope Karate School (SCKS) is a renowned martial arts school located in Nuneaton, specialising in traditional Wado Ryu karate – one of the four recognised styles of proper karate. Matthew's rapid progress and passion for karate inspired Simon to join the class as well. David Coope, Simon's other son, also joined the school at a young age and achieved a black belt shortly after turning nine.

Since its inception, Simon Coope Karate School has produced over 200 black belts and numerous English and British National champions. Notably, five members of the school have represented England in the Olympic-recognised national team, including two disabled members. Despite its competition success, the primary focus of the school remains on teaching traditional Wado Ryu karate to an exceptionally high standard.

To make enrolment more accessible, SCKS provides flexible payment options. The monthly fees vary based on the number of classes attended per week and the number of family members enrolled. For one person, the fees range from 26. 00 per month for one lesson per week to 52.

50 per month for unlimited attendance, including all grading fees to Black Belt and future licences. Family discounts are available, with subsequent family members only paying for grading and licences.
