Silver Salties at Trigg Island

Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club is hosting a fantastic event called Silver Salties, aimed specifically at individuals over the age of 65. This free social and physical initiative aims to keep our senior community active and engaged throughout the year.

One of the exciting aspects of this program is the Tech Savvy Salties group. They understand the importance of staying up-to-date with technology and want to provide our seniors with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate various platforms such as social media, Microsoft Office, and safe online banking. It's never too late to learn something new!

During the colder months, the Silver Salties take part in weekly walking groups and relaxing yoga classes held in our club hall. As summer approaches and the weather warms up, the group will move their fitness circuits to the beach. What better way to exercise than in the refreshing ocean breeze?

After their workouts, the Silver Salties love to relax and enjoy a cup of tea and a biscuit at the club. It's a great opportunity to chat and catch up with fellow participants. If you happen to see them, don't hesitate to drop by and say hello. They are a friendly bunch!
