Silat Montral

Silat Montral is a martial arts school that focuses on the traditional Indonesian art of Silat, specifically the style of Grue Blanche (White Crane) under the guidance of the Persatuan Gerak Badan Bangau Putih (PGB Bangau Putih) organization. The school was founded in 2005 in Montreal, and is part of the North American branch of PGB Bangau Putih.

The school is located at the intersection of Pins/St-Laurent and is led by instructor Frdric de Badereau, who received his black belt in Indonesia and is a recognized coach by the PGB Bangau Putih organization. Silat Montral offers a wide range of classes that include self-defence techniques, partner exercises, and movement sequences inspired by Chinese culture and nature.
