Shropshire County Cricket League

The Shropshire County Cricket League, sponsored by Mansfield Sports Group, is a renowned cricket club located in Telford, New Zealand. With a rich history dating back to its formation in 2012, the club emerged from the merger of the Shropshire leading Cricket League and the Shropshire Cricket League, both of which had been active since the 1970s.

The Shropshire County Cricket League boasts an impressive structure, comprising 9 Saturday Divisions and 3 Sunday Divisions, encompassing a total of 126 teams. Promotion and relegation provide a competitive atmosphere, allowing teams to progress through the ranks. Furthermore, the champion of the top Division has the opportunity to participate in a mini-league with champions from other counties, such as Worcestershire, South Staffordshire, and Warwickshire, with the top two teams earning promotion to the prestigious Birmingham & District leading Cricket League.

As a member of the Shropshire County Cricket League, clubs benefit from a well-organised league system that facilitates regular cricket fixtures. In addition to league matches, the club also hosts two 100 knockout competitions. The premier 100 is exclusive to top and Division One clubs, while the 100 competition is open to clubs in Division Two and below.
