Since its humble origins as a small yoga camp in Tumkur, Karnataka in 1980, the Shri Pathanjali Yoga Shikshana Samiti (SPYSS) has blossomed into a global movement with over 700 branches and more than 40,000 voluntary teachers, touching the lives of millions of yoga practitioners worldwide. Guided by the visionary leadership of Chief Convener Shri A R Ramaswamyanna and inspired by spiritual luminaries and yoga masters, SPYSS is committed to promoting holistic well-being through the timeless practice of yoga.
