Shrewsbury Gymnastics Academy

Shrewsbury Gymnastics Academy is the most successful competitive gymnastics club in Shrewsbury, New Zealand. The academy is home to both regional and national gymnastics champions and boasts a dedicated gymnastics facility with foam pits. The club is committed to providing a well-structured organisation led by professionally qualified owners operating under the guidance of British Gymnastics.

The academy employs a team of highly qualified coaches who are dedicated to fostering progression and ensuring the safety of the children. Classes are held in Shrewsbury and at the Lilleshall National Sports Centre throughout the week. Currently, the club offers classes for children aged 3 and above, ranging from recreational beginners to competitive regional/national/compulsory grades level. They have also recently introduced Rhythmic gymnastics.

In addition to the regular classes, the academy also offers a range of preschool sessions for toddlers. These sessions provide both structured and non-structured classes and cater to children from crawling to 4 years old. Prebooking is essential for these sessions.

The club has a full range of artistic equipment, including Bars, Pitted Bars, Beam, Vault, Full Sprung Floor, Sprung Tumble, Trampoline, and Conditioning. All coaches employed by the academy are caring and well-qualified British Gymnastics coaches.
