Shoshin Aikikai Singapore (SAS) is a martial arts school located in Singapore, dedicated to the practise and teachings of Aikido. Founded by the late Shihan Harry C. K. Ng, a 7th DAN practitioner, SAS upholds the principles of the Beginners Mind, encouraging students to approach their training with an open and receptive attitude.
Shihan Harry Ng was a respected figure in the Aikido community, known for his detailed methodology and simplistic approach to Aikido both on and off the mat. Over the course of 60 years, he devoted his life to the promotion and development of Aikido in Singapore, leaving behind a lasting legacy that continues to inspire members of SAS to this day.
At SAS, students have the opportunity to learn from experienced instructors who are committed to passing on the traditions and values of Aikido. Classes are designed to cater to individuals of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, with a focus on developing both physical techniques and mental discipline.
The dojo is conveniently located at the CSC (Ceylon Sports Club) Dojo, at 101 Balestier Road, Singapore 329678. Visitors and prospective students are welcome to observe a class or participate in a trial session to experience the unique teachings of Shoshin Aikikai Singapore firsthand.
