Calvin Lo, the organiser of Shorinji Kempo Wimbledon Branch, invites members of the sports community to try out this dynamic martial arts club. Nestled in Wimbledon, London, this club is all about practising and promoting Shorinji Kempo, a Japanese martial art focusing on self-defence, spiritual growth and physical fitness.
Calvin started the Wimbledon Branch in March 2018, and by September 1st, 2019, it was officially recognised by the World Shorinji Kempo Organisation (WSKO). This affiliation ensures the club upholds the core principles and techniques of Shorinji Kempo, as validated by a Branch Establishment Attestation from Japan.
At the helm, Calvin, a 4th dan martial artist, serves as the Branch Master (Shibu-cho). He brings years of teaching experience to the table and is committed to creating a safe, enjoyable training environment for everyone, regardless of skill level.
The club welcomes both beginners and seasoned martial artists. Whether you're learning the basics or refining your skills, the instructors at Shorinji Kempo Wimbledon Branch are there to guide you every step of the way.

Training sessions are held at William Morris House, 267 The Broadway, Wimbledon. The venue is clean, spacious, and ideal for martial arts practice. Classes take place every Monday and Wednesday evening from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
