Sherine Medley, the principal of Sherine's Dance School in London, welcomes sports players to join a dynamic dance community that has flourished for over 50 years. Known for its balance of hard work and fun, the school has become a local institution, inviting dancers of all ages and abilities to experience its unique family atmosphere.
Sherine herself began dancing at age 3 under founder Adele Maxwell-Miles, later pursuing professional training at B.R.I.T.S. Her extensive commercial dance career includes performances with Beyoncé, Black-Eyed Peas, and Snoop Dogg. As an Associate of the IDTA, Sherine brings immense experience to her teaching, fostering growth in confidence and skill among pupils.
Joining her is Aoife Doherty, the Head of Ballet, whose education at the Sylvia Young Theatre School and the Royal Academy of Dance, combined with her professional dancing and acting background, make her an esteemed instructor. Carl Joseph, the pianist and creative director for over 20 years, contributes significantly with his music, having played for celebrities such as Adele and Simon Cowell.
Sherine's Dance School offers an extensive weekly timetable, including Baby Ballet, RAD ballet, Pointe work, Tap, Street dance, Jazz, and Contemporary, held at venues like Christchurch Hall and Willesden Green Library. The school champions individuality and self-expression in all its students.
Newcomers are encouraged to book a free trial class to experience this supportive and enjoyable environment. For more details, visit the school’s website or reach out via email or phone.
