Shelfield United Football Club

Shelfield United Football Club, based in Walsall, has been a cornerstone of the community since 2004. Under the guidance of Leigh, they offer top-notch FA qualified football coaching for a range of age groups.

With over 30 dedicated volunteers, the club efficiently manages its activities and has a 21-acre site with secure parking and top facilities. In 2020, their hard work earned them the Staffordshire Charter Standard Club Of The Year award.

For boys and girls from U7s to U17s, there are plenty of team options. There's even a Men's Over 35s team. Leigh ensures that all coaches are FA qualified and DBS checked, putting player enjoyment and development first.

Shelfield United FC also gives back to the community, supporting local charities like the Royal British Legion and Birmingham Children's Hospital. The SUFC Foundation was set up in 2021 to raise funds for the club and charities, currently aiming to raise £3000 for WPH, a Walsall-based organisation offering confidential counselling and support services.
