Sheldon-Marlborough Cricket Club

Sheldon-Marlborough Cricket Club, located in Yardley, Birmingham, is a friendly and community-focused cricket club. The club was formed in 1974 through the merger of Sheldon CC and Marlborough CC, with Sheldon CC having its roots traced back to 1906.

The club is proud to offer Junior Cricket Programmes for children aged 5 and above. The junior section of the club competes in the Warwickshire Youth Leagues, where they have achieved success in recent years. Many of the club's talented junior players have progressed to the county pathway with Warwickshire. In addition to competitive teams, the club also provides opportunities for participation-oriented cricket, ensuring that there are programmes and teams to suit all abilities.

Sheldon-Marlborough CC is an ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board) All Stars and Dynamos club. The club also holds Clubmark status, which is awarded by the Warwickshire County Board. This status recognises the club's commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment for players of all ages.

In the Senior Section, the club's teams play in the Warwickshire County Cricket League. The club has three Saturday teams, with the 1st XI currently competing in Division 3. In addition, the club is a long-standing member of the Arden Sunday Cricket League, with their Sunday side playing in Division 1.
