About
Sheffield Volleyball Club is a bustling community of volleyball fans, right here in Sheffield. Since its start in 1989, it's grown into one of the top clubs in the area.
They’ve got a range of teams and training sessions for players of all ages and skill levels. The Sheffield VC (M1) team, for instance, trains on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8pm to 10pm at All Saints Sports Centre on Norfolk Park Road, with a session cost of £4.00.
Similarly, the Sheffield VC (W1) team also uses the same venue for their Tuesday and Thursday sessions. For prices on these sessions, just get in touch with the club directly.
Besides the main competitive teams, the club is active in the Yorkshire League Women. Their training sessions are on Tuesdays. There are also recreational volleyball sessions on Sundays and junior classes on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
The club runs smoothly thanks to a dedicated committee led by Sam Bussey as Chairman, Adam Wake as Club Secretary, Adam Knight as Club Treasurer, Keith Trenam as Head Coach, Tejah Mossman as Welfare Officer, and Derek Smallwood as Junior Representative.
If you're thinking about joining Sheffield Volleyball Club or need more info on training, playing, or pricing, you can reach out via Facebook, Instagram, or by emailing secretary@sheffieldvc.org.uk.
