Join Sheffield Croquet Club, where players of all levels gather to enjoy the game! Since 2013, we’ve made our home at Hillsborough Park Bowling Club on Middlewood Road, setting up shop on one of the spacious bowling greens for all the croquet action.
New to croquet? No sweat! James and the team provide all the gear and offer some initial coaching to get you swinging. Experienced members are always around during our regular sessions to guide you too. Bring your friends and family for a bespoke session – it's a great way to share the fun.
Croquet’s for everyone – age and gender don’t matter. Men and women compete on equal terms, and you don’t need to be super fit to enjoy it. It’s a brilliant way to meet new folks, challenge your skills, and enjoy some friendly competition. Croquet tests your hand-eye coordination, precision, delicate touch, and tactical thinking.

We also run weekly pay-and-play sessions open to all, bookable through our website. Rest easy knowing all our equipment is sanitised before play, with minimal contact except for your mallet.
