Jenny Sheeran has something exciting brewing at SheerDance, a dance school and church established in 2017 right here in Manchester. With a background as a former ballroom dancing champion, Jenny created SheerDance to foster a relaxed and friendly environment where dancers of all levels can truly shine.
Jenny’s journey in ballroom dancing began well before SheerDance. Since 2003, she has been coaching and teaching dancers of all abilities with a wealth of experience. Her talents don't just stop at teaching; she’s also choreographed dance scenes for TV shows and appeared in various commercials and programmes. With a patient and understanding approach, Jenny ensures every dancer gets the guidance they need.
SheerDance offers a wide range of classes for both adults and children. Adults can dive into ballroom and Latin classes, starting from beginners to advanced levels. Children aren't left out, with classes ranging from ballroom and Latin to sequence and classical dance. For the little ones, there are Tiny Movers classes.
For those who prefer a more personalised touch, SheerDance provides private lessons. Beyond regular classes, they organise social dances, events, competitions, and medal tests. Specialised group packages and wedding dance packages are also available. If you're aiming for dance qualifications, SheerDance offers professional tuition for IDTA and UKA certifications, and they’re available for adjudicating dance competitions.
Classes are held at various locations within Greater Manchester, including The Whitworth Darley Dale in Matlock, St Thomas's Church Hall in Oldham, and St John The Baptist Hey in Lees. Each venue offers a variety of classes catering to different age groups and skill levels.
