The main hub of the school is located in the Centre of Aberdeen, just 3 minutes away from Union Square, with convenient parking facilities. Additionally, they have a branch in Westhill on the outskirts of Aberdeen.

The school also has a special class called “Me and My Shadow” for children as young as 18 months, where parents or guardians can attend along with their child. For those interested in cheer, pom, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop styles, they offer classes through their sister school, Aberdeen cheer and dance company (ACDC).

All classes at the Sharon Gill School of Dance are taught by fully qualified teachers who are experts in their respective fields. The teachers are not only passionate about dance but are also first aid trained and DBS checked to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

The Sharon Gill Dance Academy has a rich history. After 32 years of renting various venues for their classes, they finally found a place to call home. The academy is currently housed in a former pub, which underwent extensive renovations to transform it into a top-notch dance studio. The transformation was made possible thanks to the hard work and support of friends, family, and dedicated parents who made the renovations happen.

Since opening their doors in March 2022, the academy has expanded their class offerings and has become a popular venue for events and activities beyond just dance classes. They have hosted various events including clairvoyant sessions, birthday parties, dog training, craft fairs, charity afternoon teas, watercolour classes, and community council meetings.

Additionally, the academy offers adult classes to cater to the fitness and recreational needs of the wider community. These classes include stretch 'n Tone, a gentle exercise class, and Tap Rewind workout, a fitness class for those looking to stay fit and healthy.
