Welcome to The Sharks Triathlon Club, a sports club based in Brisbane, Australia! The Club is located in the Redlands area in South East Queensland and prides itself on its affordability, family-friendly atmosphere, and strong social focus.
The Sharks Triathlon Club aims to encourage participation in triathlon at all levels and ages. Whether you are just starting out and want to finish your first event, complete an Ironman, or represent Australia at a World Championship, our club has the experienced coaches and supportive atmosphere to help you achieve your goals.
The Club was founded with just 10 members, and it is the inspiring and passionate individuals within the club community that have motivated its growth and success. Witnessing our junior athletes and first-timers cross the finish line with beaming smiles on their faces is a truly inspiring sight. We also celebrate the achievements of our Ironman triathletes who have overcome challenges to reach their goals, such as one member who completed an Ironman on his third attempt with just 2 minutes to spare before the 17-hour cut-off.
We are proud to have our inaugural president, Shane Knight, still actively involved as a member of the club. His continued presence serves as a fantastic link to our origins and the values we hold dear.
