Shadow Dance Studio is a leading dance school in Edmonton, offering professional dance classes for children, teenagers, and adults. Founded by Angel Zhong, a dedicated dance teacher with extensive experience in the field, the studio is committed to providing top-notch instruction in Chinese dance.

Located in the scenic Riverbend area of southwest Edmonton, Shadow Dance Studio boasts a fully equipped facility and a comprehensive curriculum based on the Chinese dance grading exam materials from the Beijing Dance Academy. With a focus on quality teaching methods and personalized attention, the studio has quickly gained a reputation for excellence, attracting over 200 students who have benefitted from learning Chinese dance at the school.

Over the past seven years, Shadow Dance Studio has choreographed over 50 Chinese dance performances that have been showcased at various large events and community gatherings in Edmonton and Calgary. One notable event was the successful collaboration with the Xiao Hai Ou Art Troupe in hosting the “Rhythm of China – Edmonton Hundred-Person Chinese Dance Performance Showcase” at the Eva O. Howard Theatre, receiving widespread acclaim from the audience.

In addition to its core teaching activities, Shadow Dance Studio actively engages in cultural exchanges both locally and internationally. The studio has been invited to participate in overseas cultural events, with select students and teachers attending camps and performances in China, Canada, and Japan. Notably, Angel Zhong, the studio's director, has represented Canada in cultural exchange activities and judging panels in Dubai and Japan.
