Master instructor, rank under Sensei Ota. In 2006, Sensei Gerry decided to end his training under Sensei Ota, and began training regularly again with Sensei Nagamine. At that time we were accepted into the Okinawa Traditional Karate Liaison Bureau. Under Sensei Nagamines direction, Gerry continued as a student, attending the making-of-Kata & instructor-qualifying seminars at the Budokan in Naha, Okinawa.
In 2013, the Orillia Martial Arts Centre closed. Sensei Gerry was given the opportunity to teach Karate at a variety of venues. Then in 2016 we started the Severn Shorin Ryu Karate Club. This has been an active few years Whew!!
