Senshi Ryu Martial Arts is a prestigious martial arts school located in Edgware, New Zealand. The club was established in 2015 by a group of dedicated karate practitioners with a vision to create a supportive and empowering environment for students to excel in their martial arts journey. Since its inception, Senshi Ryu has grown exponentially and is now known for its exceptional service, diverse range of classes, and knowledgeable instructors.
At Senshi Ryu Martial Arts, the main focus is on building confidence, instilling discipline, fostering respect, enhancing focus, improving fitness, and equipping students with self-defence skills. Students of all ages attend our classes for various reasons, whether it's self-defence, mind and body fitness, boosting confidence and self-esteem, or simply having fun and making friends. In addition to our core martial arts programmes, Senshi Ryu now offers Yoga classes. After a trial period, we found that Yoga complements martial arts training, but it can also be practised as a standalone discipline.
